INCREASING THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF CLOTHING MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES IN UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
This study is dedicated to the issues of enhancing the economic efficiency of clothing manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan. The paper analyzes the key factors influencing the competitiveness and profitability of textile enterprises in the republic under modern market conditions. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the light industry enterprises, the main problems of the sector are identified, including unoptimized production processes, outdated equipment, and insufficient integration into global value chains. Strategic directions for improving efficiency are proposed, including the modernization of production capacities, the implementation of innovative technologies, the development of a cluster approach, and the optimization of logistics chains. The results of the study demonstrate that the implementation of the proposed measures can increase production profitability by 15-20% in the medium term and create a sustainable foundation for the further development of the industry.
