The implementation of modern approaches and advanced pedagogical technologies in foreign language learning is of great importance for improving the quality of education. One of such innovative approaches is the integration of Bloom's taxonomy in the educational process. This taxonomy includes such stages as knowledge, understanding, application in practice, analysis, evaluation and creation of new ones. Going through these stages, it is possible to systematically develop the intellectual potential of students. Consecutive use of these stages in learning a foreign language creates the basis not only for deep mastery of language knowledge, but also for the formation of communicative skills, as well as the development of independent and creative thinking.
